Family-owned since 1957. Five operating companies across horticulture and industrial, from underground asset protection and detection to the structures and inputs commercial growers rely on season after season.
We acquire, build, and grow businesses across the industrial and horticultural sectors. We hold what we buy, and we invest in it.
We choose every business for the long term. We back strong operators, reinvest in capability, and give each company the resources and independence to grow on its own terms.
We're expanding into renewable horticultural and sustainable industrial products. Earthtwine's biodegradable twines are already replacing conventional plastics across New Zealand and Australian growing operations.
The acquisition of Elite Tunnels in 2023 established a foothold in the UK market for the Tapex Group. We continue to look for well-run businesses in regions where our sector knowledge gives us an edge.
We reinvest in the businesses we own. New manufacturing capability, stronger distribution networks, and the people to run them. That's how we build lasting value.
The Rossi family has run this business for four generations with a consistent belief: if the community around you is doing well, your business will too. That principle still drives how we operate today.
The Shepherd Centre
Tapex Group is a proud supporter of The Shepherd Centre, a not-for-profit helping children with hearing loss develop spoken language and listening skills. Founded in 1970, The Shepherd Centre now supports over 900 families across Australia, with more than 90% of graduates achieving the same spoken language levels as their hearing peers by school age.
So They Can
Tapex Group partners with So They Can, an Australian-founded charity working to give children in East Africa access to quality education. Through direct partnerships with government schools in Kenya and Tanzania, So They Can currently reaches over 55,000 children across 55 schools.
Three generations of my family have put their name on these products. That isn't heritage for its own sake. It's why a grower or a contractor can trust that what we sell will still be standing years from now.
