It is built into the products we develop, the waste we take back, and the energy we run our sites on.
Champions For Circular Economy
Tapex Group's New Zealand based company, Earthtwine, manufactures compostable growing twines. These products replace conventional plastic crop support products across commercial horticulture in Australia and New Zealand.
Plastic Recycling
The Plasback programme, New Zealand's largest agricultural plastic recycling scheme, was established by Tapex and Agpac in 2006. The business has now helped to remove millions of plastics from rural environments, and promoted circular economy with waste converted into durable, end products suitable for farming.
Clean Energy Advocacy
Tapex has installed 110 kW of solar at its Kingsgrove head office, reducing the site's reliance on grid electricity across its manufacturing and warehousing operations. All employees have access to free EV charging on site, and the Group runs three company-owned electric vehicles out of Kingsgrove.

The Rossi Foundation
Tapex Group companies support the wider community through The Rossi Foundation, which was established by Company Principal, Philip Rossi. The foundation supports multiple charities involving hearing-impaired children, cancer and other major disease research, indigenous education and women’s refuge centres.

The Shepherd Centre
The Shepherd Centre. An Australian not-for-profit that provides early intervention programmes for children with hearing loss and their families. Its work gives children who are deaf or hard of hearing the best possible start through listening and spoken language therapy.

An Australian non-profit delivering education and community development programmes in Tanzania and Kenya. Its model builds long-term community capacity through school construction, teacher training and student support. sotheycaneducation.org
Our people
We operate across Australia, New Zealand and the United Kingdom. A local team runs each site, most with long tenure and deep sector knowledge. The structure is flat, so people at every level have direct access to the decisions that affect their work, and we put money into the tools, training and conditions that make the work possible.

At Tapex Group, our Environmental, Social and Governance framework the standard we hold ourselves to. Environmental commitment sits in the products we develop and the sites we operate. Social responsibility sits in the communities we invest in and the people we employ. Governance holds both to the standard. A board of independent directors sits over the Group, providing an outside view on decisions made from the inside.
